How a Business Need Sparked the Idea for a Student’s New Venture

Cassandra is a high school student who has been learning with Graduation Solutions for over a year. While attending school online, she runs her own photobooth business. As a young adult, she’s thriving as a student and a businesswoman. Here’s her story:

In the past, Cassie struggled in traditional school and eventually had to withdraw. After some time, Cassie enrolled at Grad Solutions. At Grad Solutions, she’s able to do one class at a time and does it on her schedule.

Each day she wakes up early to post on social media. Meanwhile on the weekends, she goes out to client events where she’ll set up and host her photo booth. Clients get to customize their photo frames and have photos printed onsite. At the end, they also receive access to all of their photos on a thumb drive. Cassie enjoys the experience of bringing the photobooth feature to her clients.  “It’s exciting to see the smiles on peoples faces. That’s what makes it so much fun,” she says.

She got into the photobooth business after a suggestion from her mom who owns a wedding venue. It was her Mom’s idea after seeing a need from her own clients to have a photobooth at their weddings. Cassie liked the idea and her mother helped fund it.

Today, Cassie runs the business with her boyfriend. It’s a growing business and she’s regularly getting new clients. Her flexible school schedule lets her easily manage her business while continuing to attend school. The arrangement has worked out well for her and she’s now only two classes from graduating.

After graduation, Cassie is ready to expand! She would like to take some business classes at a college to help her with her business too. “We can do anything we want while we are still learning. We are young and capable of anything”, she says.
