A Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) must be created to access the Federal Student Aid's online systems & will serve as an electronic signature.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an online application students complete to get financial help for college or other eligible programs that charge tuition.

  • Every student attending a tuition-based program like trade school, community college, or university is required to fill out a FAFSA to be eligible for federal financial aid. This can include grants, loans, and scholarships.

  • Every student and parent must create an FSA ID that will serve as a signature on all forms. Click here to apply for an FSA ID and to fill out the FAFSA.
