College Exploration and Planning

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to take college-level courses while still in high school, earning both high school and college credit simultaneously.

Benefits of Concurrent Enrollment

  • High-rigor colleges and universities might require specific courses that Grad Solution doesn't offer (ex. Lab Science). A concurrent enrollment course can help meet those requirements and ensure eligibility for admission.

  • Students can complete introductory college courses early, potentially shortening their time in university and reducing overall tuition costs.

  • It offers a preview of college-level coursework, helping students adjust to the academic rigor and expectations of university.

  • Allows students to explore different subjects or career pathways before committing fully, aiding in informed decision-making about majors or career goals.

  • Demonstrates to universities a student's ability to handle college-level coursework, potentially improving chances of admission to selective universities or programs.

  • Encourages development of essential skills like time management and self-discipline, crucial for success in higher education and beyond.
