Note: It is normal for a washer to make noise during the spin cycle because the wash basin is moving fast. If the washer starts making a noise that seems too loud, you may want to stop the load and read the machine’s user manual.

How to Wash Clothes by Hand
If you don’t have a washing machine or your machine is not working, you can wash your clothes by hand. It’s a little more work but it will get the job done!
1 Fill a bucket with lukewarm water
2 Add detergent Use a powder or liquid detergent but do not use pods because they are not designed for hand washing.
3 Let the clothes soak Allow the clothes to soak for 30 minutes to an hour to allow the direct.
4 Scrub Use your hands or a brush to scrub the clothes. Rub the clothes against themselves to get the extra dirt out.
5 Empty and refill the bucket with clean water. Remove the clothes from the bucket and gently twist to get some of the water out. You don’t need to get all the water out at this point.
6 Rinse. Empty the water from the container and fill with cool water to do a final rinse.
7 Wring and dry the clothing. Twist to remove most of the water. If you are not using a dryer, hang the clothing on a clothes horse, clothesline, the backs of chairs or banister railing.
Make sure the clothing is spread out evenly, and that articles of clothing don't overlap. Wet clothes will drip and could leave a stain on furniture or floors, if draped directly on it. Wring out the clothes as best as you can to avoid this.
On a sunny day, your clothes should dry within a few hours. If you don’t have sun, dry in a warm room with good air circulation.
